Mahesh Arasu
Advocate | Supreme Court, Delhi HC & Karnataka HC | Criminal, Family, Banking, Service, Land & Cyber Law
I am an Advocate with a unique combination of engineering training, litigation experience, and a strong interest in complex dispute resolution.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, I have worked on matters spanning litigation, arbitration, insolvency, intellectual property, cyber-fraud disputes, and white-collar investigations.
My experience includes assisting in proceedings before the Supreme Court, High Courts, Tribunals, and Trial Courts, involving Special Leave Petitions, writ petitions, criminal proceedings, commercial disputes, and regulatory matters.
Beyond assisting senior counsel, i have independently handled criminal litigation, matrimonial and family disputes, service law matters, and land acquisition compensation claims, gaining practical courtroom experience in drafting pleadings, developing case strategy, conducting legal research, and representing clients at various stages of proceedings.
My exposure includes international arbitration award enforcement proceedings, insolvency matters under the IBC framework, cyber-fraud and bank account de-freezing cases, patent and trademark disputes, constitutional litigation, and matters arising under the new criminal law framework of BNS, BNSS, and BSA. Before entering the legal profession, I worked with a DRDO institution as a Mechanical Engineer. That technical foundation enables me to approach complex commercial, technology, infrastructure, and intellectual property disputes with analytical precision.
I am particularly interested in arbitration, commercial litigation, criminal law, matrimonial and family disputes, insolvency, cyber law, white-collar crime, intellectual property, land acquisition, and public law litigation.
I value rigorous research, strategic drafting, and practical advocacy that can withstand scrutiny both in conference rooms and courtrooms.
