Hub Coordinator, Welcome Team, Communications/Media Lead

Aloha! 🌺 My name is Ashmu (pronounced ash-moo like a cow), pronouns she/her, and I am originally from Oahu, Hawai‘i. I’ve lived in the Bay for about 4 years now and love it! I’ve been a member of Sunrise Movement since 2024, and have been Hub Coordinator for the Sunrise Bay Area Hub since January 2025. I also am the Communications/Media Lead for the hub. Sunrise has truly been life changing for me, and a place where I've grown and learned so much. I can't wait for the same for you!

I am open for Intro Calls if you are brand new and don't know where to start. Any of the Welcome Team can get you going, but as hub coordinator, I have a great birds eye of view of everything going on. Or schedule your Welcome Call with me if you are especially interested in helping with Comms or Social Media!
