Changelog: Cal.com v6.9.5 - Workflow delays, Message your guests, Out of office integrations & more
Hello, welcome to this month’s feature update! This month, we’ve focused on a few key areas to improve your experience. We’re also making changes to our Terms of Service, Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and Privacy Policy, which take effect on 1 November 2026. You’ll find the details below the changelog.
Delays in Workflows
You can now add a Delay step anywhere on the workflow canvas. Send a confirmation email the moment someone books, wait two hours, then follow up with an SMS, all in one workflow. Delays are saved with the workflow and keep their place when you edit it.

Message Your Event Guests
Hosts of Cal Events can now message their guests straight from the guest list. Pick who should hear from you, such as everyone who is going or still pending, write your message, and send it. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe, so guests stay in control.

Out of Office Integrations
The new Integrations tab in Out of office connects your time off to the tools your team already uses. Bring your Deel leave types into Cal.com, choose which Google calendar your out of office events go to, and post out of office updates to a Slack channel automatically.

Features and improvements
You can now filter the event types list by tag.
Added a per-event-type setting to choose which day the week starts on in the booker.
Added a setting to stop booking proposal emails from going to hosts.
Team admins can now add organization members to a team directly from the host picker.
Hosts can now accept and reject seats from the booking drawer.
Added cal.audio, audio-only rooms on Cal Video.
Organization teams can now have permanent Cal Video rooms.
Added Notifications settings so you can choose which booking emails you get.
Added SoundCloud, Apple Music and Bandcamp to the links on your public profile.
Redesigned the monthly digest email.
Troubleshooter now explains an empty calendar when every host is blocked.

Updated Terms of Service, Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy (effective 1 November 2026)
New versions of our legal terms take effect on 1 November 2026: Terms of Service v2.0, Data Processing Agreement (DPA) v2.3, SCC Schedule v1.0 and an updated Privacy Policy. Nothing changes until then.
What's new
One DPA for every account. The DPA now applies to all plans, free and paid, as part of the Terms. It covers how Cal.com processes the personal data of the people who book with you, including GDPR Article 28 and US state privacy terms. cal.com/dpa
International transfers. Transfers from the EU and UK are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. Where the Framework does not cover a transfer, including transfers from Switzerland, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply, with the UK Addendum and Swiss amendments, as completed by our SCC Schedule. cal.com/dpa-scc
Subprocessors. Our subprocessor list is published at trust.cal.com. We notify you before a new vendor starts processing your data, by email, in-product notification or another documented electronic method, and you can object on data-protection grounds as described in the DPA.
Newly listed subprocessors. Eight vendors that already help us run Cal.com are now on the list: Postmark (email delivery), Trigger.dev (background jobs), Upstash (caching and rate limiting), Google Places and Mapbox (address and location lookups), AvatarAPI (profile pictures), Browser Use (link safety checks) and Dub (SMS short links). We also plan to add People Data Labs (company details); it is not yet in use, and this entry is our notice before it starts. If you have a reasonable data-protection concern about any of them, email privacy@cal.com within 30 days of this entry and we will work with you on it, as described in the DPA.
Privacy Policy. Updated with the same effective date. It now explains that Cal.com is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension; you can verify this at dataprivacyframework.gov/list. cal.com/privacy
Disputes and governing law. The Agreement is governed by Delaware law and disputes are heard in the courts of the State of Delaware; there is no arbitration clause. Consumers in the EEA, UK or Switzerland keep the mandatory rules and courts of their home country where the law so provides.
Liability. Cal.com's liability is capped at the greater of the fees you paid in the previous 12 months or US$100. The Terms do not provide a separate data-loss carve-in or promise that data is backed up or recoverable. Consumer rights that cannot be limited by law are unaffected.
Communications. Cal.com does not send newsletters or promotional email, and accepting the Terms is not marketing consent. You receive service notices (account, security, billing, legal changes) and this changelog, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
Other changes. Cal.com may terminate the Agreement without cause on reasonable prior written notice; refunds are made only where applicable law requires. The 12-month inactivity rule is removed. Cal.com may name you and show your logo as a customer unless you opt out at privacy@cal.com (or your Order Form says otherwise). Invoice billing is available only under an Order Form or master services agreement.
What you need to do
Accept in the app. Account owners and admins will be asked in the app to accept the new Terms of Service, DPA and SCC Schedule for their team or organization. One acceptance covers the whole team or organization. From 1 November 2026, owners and admins need to accept before they can continue using the app; booking pages, the API and other members' access keep working.
If you don't accept. You may terminate the Agreement before 1 November 2026 by emailing support@cal.com. Any refund of prepaid, unused fees is made only where the Agreement or applicable law requires and within a reasonable time.
Signed agreements. If you have a separately signed data processing agreement, master services agreement or Order Form, it continues to apply as written; we will contact you separately. Customers with a master services agreement will not see the in-app prompt and will receive a short amendment instead.
