Brennan Plummer

Brennan Plummer is an American conductor, pianist, and organist, with classical piano the focus of his creativity and outreach. Heavily influenced by the twentieth-century works of France and South America, he has performed that repertoire in Mexico, Brazil, and across Europe.

He studied closely with Dr. Uriel Tsachor and Michael Gurt, and has performed solo repertoire in masterclasses with Jani Parsons, Leslie Spotz, Mauricy Martin, and Clélia Iruzun. Actively involved in chamber music as well, he has worked in masterclasses with the Harlem Quartet and the JACK Quartet.

He received his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Iowa and his Master of Music in Piano Performance from Louisiana State University while serving as a teaching assistant.

He has performed choir tours in England and Brazil with both amateur and professional choirs. Most recently, he directed and conducted the first “Tenebrae” concert in Saint Francisville, Louisiana.

He is currently serving as Director of Music and Organist at St. Joseph Cathedral in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
