Build Young Minds is a hands-on drone and robotics education program designed to make STEM real, accessible, and exciting for students in grades 4–12. Founded by Amadou Wade, an Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Maryland, the program combines custom drone kits, a structured curriculum, and near-peer mentorship from UMD engineers to help students build, code, and fly—while gaining real-world skills and confidence.
