provide background context
identify boundaries and preferences
flag topics to include or avoid
reduce misunderstandings

The form supports preparation — it does not script or limit the conversation.

Failure to disclose boundaries in advance does not guarantee post-recording edits.

This is a voluntary, unpaid podcast interview for Dispatched & Dysfunctional.

By scheduling, you acknowledge:

participation is entirely voluntary
this is not employment, consulting, coaching, or therapy
no ongoing professional relationship is created
participation may be ended by either party prior to recording

This podcast exists to share lived experience and honest conversation around EMS, first responders, healthcare, leadership, burnout, and life inside and outside the job.

🎧 Recording Format:

Primary platform: SquadCast
Backup platform: Google Meet
Default format: Audio-only (video available upon request)
Format style: Live, unscripted, conversation-driven

Sessions are typically 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Conversations may run slightly over if both parties agree. There is no obligation to exceed the booked time.

Episodes frequently include:

explicit language
dark humor
mature themes
emotionally heavy subject matter

The show is not sanitized or designed for corporate environments.

If you prefer language limitations or specific topic boundaries, these must be clearly stated in the intake form.

🎙️ Recording, Editing & Release:

Episodes are recorded live and released in a largely unedited format.

There is no scripted rehearsal, tone smoothing, or content sanitization. Authenticity is prioritized over performance.

By participating, you acknowledge:

the recording may be published in full or in part
your voice, statements, and likeness (if video is used) may be used in episodes, clips, transcripts, and promotional materials
editorial discretion remains with the host

If something requires removal for privacy or legal clarity, it must be clearly stated during recording or immediately afterward.

Post-release edits are not guaranteed.

🛑 No-Show Policy:

The recording room opens a few minutes early
The session will be held for 15 minutes past the scheduled time

Failure to join within that window will result in a no-show and require rescheduling.
