Why are we creating Cal.eu?

Data security and compliance are at the forefront of modern business requirements. Cal.eu ensures your scheduling data stays within Europe, adhering to GDPR regulations and providing an added layer of privacy without sacrificing functionality or ease of use. From 1 November it is reserved for privacy-first paid customers, starting with the Organizations plan.

01

Fully hosted in the European Union

All data is stored and processed within EU borders, on infrastructure that meets Europe’s strict privacy and sovereignty requirements.

02

Compliant on Cal.com and on Cal.eu

Whether you are on Cal.com or Cal.eu, the app is GDPR, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliant. Cal.eu adds European data residency on top.

03

Built for Organizations

Organizations get a subdomain, like acme.cal.com, and that subdomain routes the whole organization to our European infrastructure. That is why Organizations can always host in Europe.

Create your organization in Europe

Every Organization gets its own subdomain. Pick Europe as the region and acme.cal.com routes your whole organization, every member and every booking, to servers in the EU.

What changes on 1 November

Europe hosting becomes a privacy-first paid offering, starting with the Organizations plan. Here is what that means for each kind of Cal.eu account.

Organizations: always in Europe

Organizations keep hosting in Europe, today and after 1 November. The subdomain makes Europe-wide routing possible, so an Organization can always live in the EU.

Teams: a free upgrade to Organizations

Past Teams accounts on Cal.eu receive a free upgrade to Organizations and stay hosted in Europe. Nothing to rebuild: your team, links and bookings carry over.

Individuals: migrate to Cal.com

Past Individual accounts move to Cal.com, hosted in the USA, with the same GDPR, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliance. The migration takes a few minutes and keeps your links and bookings.
