Hello, welcome to this month’s feature update! 

We hope your summer’s off to a great start. Ours kicked off with something a little different. We had our annual company retreat in sunny Gran Canaria 🌴 Since we’re a fully remote team, we don’t get to see each other in person often, so this was a rare and much-needed chance to slow down, spend time together, and just be human for a bit.

It wasn’t a week of shipping features (for once), but it gave everyone a chance to rest, reset, and come back with fresh energy. Now that we're back, we’ve picked up right where we left off. Here’s a look at what we’ve been working on to make your Cal.com experience even better.

Advanced Cal Video settings

Cal Video just got a major upgrade with new customization options to make your meetings more private, accessible, and seamless.

You can now choose to disable recording for guests or organizers, giving you full control over what gets captured. Want transcripts automatically? Just flip a switch to enable automatic transcription the moment the call begins, which is perfect for notes, records, or accessibility.

Note: Recording and transcription are available on the Team plan and above.

And when the meeting ends, you can now redirect attendees to a custom URL. Whether it’s a thank-you page, feedback form, or next step in your workflow, we have you covered. 

All of this is available directly in the Cal Video location settings when setting up your event type.
