A Divination session with Tylor, an initiated Diviner in the "Stick Medicine" ancestral healing lineage of the Dagara tribe in Burkina Faso.

What is "Stick Medicine"?
It is an ancient healing art, passed down over thousands of years, enabling Diviners to communicate with their unseen team in the other world, including Ancestors, healing guides, elementals, etc., to assist those seeking healing, resolution of challenges, or spiritual clarity.

There is no "medicine" per se, that is used or ingested in a session, rather the "medicine" work is based in traditions, protocols, rituals, and tools that the Diviner uses to sift through the energetic and spiritual realms for information and guidance.

The Divination tools include a stick, a wooden board, a rattle, a bell, cowrie shells, and a kit of "pieces" that includes shells, stones, sticks, bones, and other objects that each represent an Ancestral, elemental, energetic, or healing wisdom.

Session Overview & Preparation
Sessions usually last around 90 minutes, but I allow a little extra time for greetings at the start and integration after the session closes.

To prepare for the session, clarify your questions, challenges, prayers, and speak them aloud into a coin (preferably a $0.25 quarter). The greater clarity and energy that you infuse into the coin, the better.

It is recommended that you journal a brief summary of the key questions/issues that you speak into the coin, and it's good to have that journal or notes doc ready for taking notes during the session.

Spend a few minutes grounding before the session, and arrive with an open mind and open heart.

What to Expect
Every Divination is unique, but they all share a certain flow and rhythm, which begins with an invocation of the elements, ancestors, and guides.

This is followed by a process of "calling forward" the energies that wish to speak and share insights and information.

It's common to receive a series of rituals to complete after the session, which are often times a combination of offerings and prayers at particular locations in nature.

Session Fee
Each session requires a "sliding scale" value exchange recommended between $100 - 250 USD. I offer a 'pay what you can' scale for anyone in financial hardship to ensure that no one is turned away for lack of funds. There is a $20 booking fee required to reserve your time slot. The remaining sliding scale payment is requested prior to the start of your session.
