Ale Gicqueau
Ale Gicqueau is a French-born entrepreneur, AI consultant, and author with 22 years of hands-on business experience across Silicon Valley, Europe, and Latin America.
He holds dual master's degrees in engineering from École Centrale Paris and UC Davis. After moving to the Bay Area, he founded Clinovo — a clinical data management company — and built ClinCapture, an electronic data capture platform that brought enterprise clinical trial software within reach of smaller research organizations. Clinovo sold in 2015. During that same period, he served as Vice Consul of the Principality of Monaco in San Francisco.
He now runs USHAIA, an AI consulting practice with a single differentiator: everything he recommends, he already runs himself. His live portfolio includes Jane's Beach Resort in Costa Rica, a 10-property residential and commercial real estate operation, and PAT — a Personal Assistant Technology system that indexes his business data, monitors operations overnight, and delivers a morning briefing. His clients don't get slide decks. They get architecture borrowed from systems already in production.
Ale is the author of Aliénation Parentale: De l'Ombre à la Lumière (2023) and has been featured on Europe 1's Libre Antenne. Trilingual in English, French, and Spanish, he works between Costa Rica, the United States, and Europe.
