Single-Song Clearance Start
Ready to begin clearing a specific song for your project? Start here.
For filmmakers, brands, agencies, production companies, podcasts, content creators, and others seeking permission to use a single piece of music.
This service is structured in two phases and totals $500.
Phase 1 — Deposit: $250
Begins with a brief intake consultation to confirm your project details and clearance objectives, followed by:
- Review of project requirements
- Identification of the appropriate rights holders
- Preparation and submission of initial clearance requests
- One follow-up with rights holders, if needed
- Summary of responses, quotes, restrictions, or approval requirements
Phase 2 — Remaining Balance: $250
If you'd like to proceed after reviewing initial responses, the remaining $250 covers strategy, negotiation, and coordination through to a finalized outcome.
More complex requests — including multiple songs, fragmented ownership, international rights, or unusual licensing needs — will be quoted separately before additional work begins.
Rights holder license fees are separate and payable directly to the applicable rights holders if you choose to proceed. This service covers professional clearance support only and does not guarantee approval, pricing, response times, or successful clearance.
