John Chavez

With nearly 40 years in the HVACR industry as a technician, contractor, manufacturer’s representative, and wholesale distributor, I’ve developed a career shaped by a wide range of roles and project types across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

As the founder of a forward-thinking contracting firm, my work centers on design-assist, system evaluation, indoor air quality, and technical sales support, grounded in field experience, building science, industry education, and practical, real-world conditions.

In addition to advisory and design-assist services, my firm also provides traditional HVAC contracting services, including repairs and installation, with scope and responsibility defined by each specific engagement.

Indoor air quality isn’t just a professional focus; it’s a passion. I’m motivated to support healthier, more sustainable, and more durable buildings by applying building science principles, informed design decisions, established engineering best practices, and when appropriate, modern technology. Whether I’m clarifying complex concepts, evaluating system performance, or contributing perspective to project strategy, I approach each engagement with integrity and thoughtful communication.

At my firm, the objective isn’t to chase outcomes or make promises. It’s to bring clarity, question assumptions when appropriate, and help project teams make better, more informed decisions. All work is scope-defined and tailored to the specific needs, constraints, and responsibilities of each engagement.
