Welcome to the magical world of Movement, Music and Dance!
Our ‘Me & My Grown Up’ Program boasts a captivating and engaging atmosphere, where our tiniest Dancers, aged 18months+, learn and have fun in a tailored program just for them!
Utilising props, musical instruments and 100's of songs this 'Introduction to Dance' class is designed to have a parent or guardian in the classroom, to assist their child.
Our ‘Me & My Grown Up’ Program develops the foundational skills required for the next level, the Starlets Program (3-5 years).

3-5 years: Starlets Trial Class (Pre-School level)
Exclusive to Illuminate Dance Studio, Pre-School Starlets Dance Program is specifically designed and curated for our 3-5 year old dancers.
Our Starlets have loads of fun in a creative and exciting environment, where each weekly lesson is unique and different to the last!
Set in a stress free, family-friendly environment, Starlets Dance is a fun ‘Introductory to Dance Combo Class’, where our young dancers are guided to develop their creativity and passion for dance, whilst gaining an appreciation for rhythm and musical harmony. Upon completion, our Starlets have the technical knowledge and skills required for the next level, the School-Age Dance Program (5+ years).

5-7 years: Ballet Trial Class (Foundation level)
Join us for a Ballet Dance Trial Class in Clyde North!
Ballet is the foundation of all dance. Each class begins with a ballet barre, then moves to the centre of the room for pirouettes and turns, and concludes with a reverence. Students will learn terminology in French, correct body alignment, how to improve their natural turn-out and develop a love for the most graceful living art!
Welcoming Girls and Boys aged 18 months+, Ballet Dance class is one of the most beautiful dance styles you'll witness on stage, with twirling ballerinas and leaping lords!

5-7 years: Jazz/Tap/Acrobatics Combo Trial Class (Foundation level)
Join us for a Jazz/Tap/Acrobatics Combo Dance Trial Class in Clyde North!
Jazz: An upbeat and fast paced energetic class, which includes stretches, isolations, jumps, kicks and Jazz dance styles with choreography. Jazz focuses upon learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns.
Tap: A fun lively class which develops rhythm, style and sound, making the performer not just a dancer, but a percussive musician! Movements focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. Class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds and having fun!
Acrobatics: Focuses on developing fundamental acrobatic technique. Skills such as handstands, cartwheels, backbends and walkovers are taught, all at each student’s individual level of experience.

HipHop Dance classes infuse the latest styles of street dancing, popping, and locking, whilst dancing to an upbeat rhythm. Students are encouraged to 'step outside the box' by bringing their own individual style to movements. Dancers will have fun as they learn routines to popular and high-energy music!
