StemWave Initial Consultation + Mapping Session (In-Person)

This first visit combines a focused clinical evaluation with a StemWave “mapping” session to determine whether shockwave therapy is appropriate for your condition and, if so, to build a targeted treatment plan.

What to expect (this is not a full orthopaedic consult):

• Brief history and focused physical exam of the painful area

• Review of relevant prior imaging/records if available

• StemWave mapping session to identify the most irritable tissues and primary pain generators (tendon, fascia, ligament insertion, muscle trigger regions, etc.)

• Determination of candidacy: whether StemWave is likely to help based on diagnosis, symptom pattern, and tissue response

• Recommended treatment protocol if appropriate (areas to treat, number of sessions, frequency, activity modifications, and expected timeline)

Important notes:

• This visit is designed to confirm fit and define targets—not to replace a comprehensive orthopaedic workup for complex or unstable injuries.

• If you require additional services (e.g., diagnostic ultrasound, X-ray, injections, bracing/casting/splinting), these are separate and can be added if clinically indicated.

• Transparent pricing and packages are listed at www.jo.institute
