Sustainable Land /Yard Care by Tamara Wood, a local land steward with a background in ecological restoration and a bachelor's degree in sustainability.

While I'm working toward a career in environmental consulting and analysis, I wanted to open my books to help my neighbors improve the ecological value of their property, save money, and share what I've learned through years of rewilding my own property, groundskeeping at a riparian restoration wetland, and participating in work parties within the North Creek watershed and beyond.

If this is your first time, please book a free consultation so I can examine your site. Service Minimum: 2-hour minimum per visit to account for travel and setup.

General Labor & Physical Maintenance:

-Spreading mulch/arborist chips(ChipDrop), heavy lifting, manual weeding, and general clean-up.

-Invasive Removal & Site Prep for climate-resilient plants and trees

-Targeted physical clearing of invasive species (e.g., blackberries, reed canary grass, and more) and lawn replacements to create more resilient and low-water landscapes

Do you need help with cleaning, powerwashing, hardscaping, or other various jobs? I've done a lot, so please ask. I will not spray herbicides or pesticides, but I do have many other techniques I can share to help protect your plants and garden.

Ecological Consulting & Design

Site-based co-design, custom native and climate-resilient planting layouts, and pollinator habitat planning. I can help you create do-it-yourself plans and/or support execution as well. I'm flexible and love to learn more about you and your site.

Project-Based & Package Estimates

For larger, multi-step, physically demanding landscape and long-term care projects, estimates can be provided following an initial site consultation. The hourly rate is a base rate and could change based on the size of the property and the scope of the project.

Equipment & Transport: Professional tools and electric truck transport are included in all rates.
