Hi! I'm an indie developer and the maker of video to notes — a tool that turns videos into structured, image-rich text notes.

What is vid2notes?

Unlike most transcription tools that only listen to the audio, video to notes looks at the video frames too. That means:

• 🎬 **Visual understanding** — slides, diagrams, code on screen, and whiteboard content are captured as images, not lost
• 📝 **Structured notes** — get organized, readable notes instead of a wall of raw transcript text
• ⏱️ **Save time** — absorb a 1-hour lecture, tutorial, or meeting recording in minutes
• 🌍 **Great for learners** — perfect for online courses, conference talks, and tutorials

Why I built it

I watched too many great videos and forgot them a week later. Pausing to screenshot slides and typing notes by hand was painful — so I built a tool that does it automatically, treating video as *video*, not just audio.
