Welcome to the Legal Writing Centre!

The LWC is here to help you improve your legal writing, be it essays, case notes, opinions, or any other legal writing.

Please note that we can only assist undergraduate students.

Appointments

Please make an appointment with your preferred tutor from the list below, subject to their availability.

Once you have made your appointment, please email [email protected]. In the email, you must include:

- the piece of writing you would like us to help you with (if applicable)

- the name of your tutor (in the subject line)

Please note: all consults are in person at the Legal Writing Centre unless otherwise arranged. The LWC's offices are on the 4th floor, next to classroom 4A.

All the tutors share the same email, so you MUST include the tutor's name in the subject line.

Walk-in consultations
In addition to appointments, walk-in consultations are available at the following times:

Phemelo: Monday from 12:00-13:00

Salmaan: Monday from 12:00-13:00

Matthew: Tuesday from 13:00-14:00

Ayanda: Wednesday from 08:00-09:00
