1. I often check my calendar once a day in the morning or in the evening of the day before and often don't check email during the day. If you schedule a meeting on the same day you want to meet, I am not likely to know about it! Please reach out via Signal, SMS, Matrix, or IRC.

2. This website will allow you to select whether the meeting is in person or online. The default is https://meet.jit.si/makooffice but I prefer to meet in person on UW campus in the Community Data Lab at UW (CMU 306) so select that option if you can and I'll reach out if it's not going to work in person.

3. Because I have an open calendar, random people sometimes jump on it. As a result, I will often cancel and/or ignore meetings with people I don't know, so please only book a meeting with me once you've gotten the go-ahead from me. You've got it if you are a member of my research collective or a student in one of my classes! If you aren't, contact me.
