Parent Support Call Agreement

By booking a session, I agree to the terms outlined below.

This Agreement is between Maya Kumits (“Facilitator”) and the individual (“Participant”) who books a standalone 30-minute support call. This call is designed as a peer-based, supportive conversation for parents or caregivers navigating challenges with their teen or young adult. It is not therapy, coaching, or medical consultation.

1. Nature of the Relationship

A. This is a non-clinical, non-coaching, non-therapeutic conversation. It is intended solely for support, perspective-sharing, and resource discussion between peers. It is not professional advice.

B. The Participant understands and agrees that:

No diagnosis, treatment, or therapeutic intervention will be provided.
No medical, mental health, or legal advice is being given.
This session does not create a fiduciary, coaching, counseling, or therapist-client relationship.

C. The Participant remains solely responsible for their own well-being and decision-making. If in crisis or needing clinical help, the Participant agrees to seek care from a qualified professional.

2. Services Provided

One 30-minute support call via phone or video.
Optional brief follow-up (under 5 minutes) via email or voice/text message.
Additional calls may be booked separately.

3. Scheduling & Fees

Fee: $50 per 30-minute session, payable in advance.
Sessions must be booked through the Facilitator’s calendar system.
Cancellations require at least 48 hours' notice via email to maya@altlead.co for a full refund.
No refunds will be given for late cancellations or no-shows.
Participants more than 15 minutes late forfeit the session without refund.

4. Confidentiality

Conversations are held in confidence, but:

This relationship is not legally protected (e.g., not like therapy or attorney-client privilege).
Confidentiality will be breached in cases of risk to self or others, or as required by law.
The Facilitator may consult with professional peers or supervisors anonymously for support in their own role.

5. Recordings

Sessions are not recorded unless explicitly requested and agreed to in writing by both parties. Any agreed-upon recording will follow the confidentiality terms above and be used only for personal review or facilitator development.

6. Indemnification and Limited Liability

The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Facilitator from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of participation in the session.

The Facilitator makes no guarantees regarding outcomes. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.

7. Applicable Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
