Melanie Carson
Hi, I'm Melanie,
I'm a 500-hour Certified Yoga Teacher and a Yoga Therapy Practitioner currently completing supervised clinical training toward certification through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
I believe healing begins by creating the conditions for the body, mind, and nervous system to remember their natural capacity for balance and resilience.
Using evidence-informed yoga therapy, breathwork, mindfulness, and compassionate, individualized care, I support people living with chronic pain, neurological conditions, women's health concerns, stress, anxiety, trauma, and other complex health challenges. As someone who has navigated my own journey with chronic illness, I understand that healing is rarely linear and that being truly seen and heard can be just as therapeutic as any technique.
My intention is to offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to rediscover what is possible—one breath, one movement, and one moment at a time.
Individual Session
Each ongoing session is thoughtfully tailored to your changing needs.
Initial Consultation
This first session is a time for us to slow down and get to know your unique story. We will explore your current experiences, health history, hopes, and intentions for yoga therapy, and gently begin creating a personalized path of support that meets you where you are.
Clarity Call-15 minutes
Thank you for your interest in yoga therapy. A link should be sent to your email for the meeting once you book.
Please email me if you cannot find a time that works for you in the next 2-3 weeks: [email protected]
This brief call is an opportunity for us to connect, discuss what the yoga therapy process may look like, explore your goals and questions, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.
We will also review next steps, including the initial consultation process, session structure, scheduling, and other logistical details.
