# 90 min Introductory breathwork session with Nico Akiba

> Online breathwork session with extra time built in to complete your intake and introduce the technique. Part 1 is mandatory to address important medical history and contraindications - https://www.nicoakiba.com/intake-form-part-1 Part 2 is optional but highly recommended reflections on trauma history and lifestyle that will help us make the most of our time together - https://www.nicoakiba.com/intake-form-part-2 For setup, please prepare a few items to have within reach: tissues, water, pillows or towel, lotion, bowl, blanket, and comfortable ways to both sit and lie down (such as a chair or cushion and bed or yoga mat). Ensure that your space is well lit with a comfortable place to sit, as well the ability to move around and lie down. Please silence your phone before the session begins and use a computer or tablet for the session. The goal is to have a cozy nest that feels safe, welcoming, and is free of interruptions. In addition to the 90 minutes we'll have together, I encourage you to also schedule yourself some open time and space afterwards to deepen the integration before needing to focus on something else.
