Cal.eu to Cal.com Migration
We plan to migrate Cal.eu users to Cal.com before shutting down Cal.eu on November 1, 2026 (Enterprise customers have extensions according to their contract.)
We plan to migrate Cal.eu users to Cal.com before shutting down Cal.eu on November 1, 2026.
We originally launched Cal.eu to give European users a dedicated home, particularly those who did not want to use our international platform. Over time, however, we realized that running two separate platforms prevents us from providing the quality, reliability, and pace of improvement our users deserve.
Maintaining Cal.eu and Cal.com in parallel requires us to divide our attention, infrastructure, and engineering resources. After investing a great deal of work and care into Cal.eu, we have made the difficult decision to focus fully on Cal.com.
What happens next
Cal.eu will remain available until November 1, 2026.
Enterprise customers will continue to have access to Cal.eu for the full period contractually agreed with them, even if that period extends beyond November 1. We will contact those customers directly to discuss their timelines and next steps.
Before the applicable shutdown date, Cal.eu users will be able to move to Cal.com. We are working to make the migration as simple as possible, with minimal interruption to your scheduling links and workflows. We will share detailed instructions directly with affected users.
Moving to Cal.com is your choice. We will never transfer your data without your consent.
If you do not want to migrate, you will have the opportunity to export your data before your access to Cal.eu ends. We are also happy to help you evaluate other providers, including European-hosted alternatives.
Privacy and security remain fundamental
Cal.com is our international platform and is GDPR compliant, SOC 2 compliant, and ISO 27001 certified.
This is personal to us. Bailey and I are both European. Bailey was born near London, and I was born near Hamburg. We take the responsibility of protecting your data extremely seriously.
Consolidating our efforts on Cal.com does not change that commitment. It allows us to invest more deeply in the security, reliability, and privacy of one platform.
Why we are making this change
Nobody likes shutting down a service, especially one into which the team has poured so much energy.
But keeping two separate platforms running in parallel is no longer the best way for us to serve either community. By focusing on Cal.com, we can ship improvements faster, operate more reliably, and provide a better experience for everyone.
We know this change may be inconvenient, and we are sorry for the disruption it may cause. We will do everything we can to make the transition straightforward.
If you have questions, concerns, or need help deciding what to do next, please reach out to us. We are here to help, whether you choose to move to Cal.com or to another provider.
Thank you for trusting Cal.eu.
Peer, Bailey, and the Cal.com team
