WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

Bring with you:

- The will, printed on paper, with every page there and no blank spaces left anywhere.

- Two witnesses, both 18 or over, both able to stay for the whole appointment.

- Government photo identification for everyone who will sign — you and both witnesses. The name on the ID must match the name in the document.

- The will written in English. I can explain everything in Arabic, but the document itself must be in English.

Please do not:

- Do not sign the will before you arrive. You must sign it in front of your witnesses, at the appointment. A will that is already signed has to be reprinted.

- Do not bring a witness who inherits anything under the will, or whose husband or wife does. If a witness inherits, that inheritance is cancelled. Choose two people who receive nothing.

- Do not come without telling me first if I am named anywhere in your will, as executor, guardian, beneficiary or witness. I cannot commission a will that names me, and you would need a different commissioner.

That last one is the only problem that cannot be fixed once you are here. If my name appears anywhere in your will, message me before you book.
