This is a 2-hour “Paint and Take” class that costs $30, where kids can either be dropped off or joined by a parent. All materials are included, along with a miniature of their choice to paint. An instructor guides them through the basics of miniature painting, including how to care for brushes and use simple color theory. By the end, participants leave with their finished piece and more confidence in their painting skills.

Curious about Dungeons & Dragons but never played before? In this beginner-friendly Paint & Play class, you’ll learn how to paint your own fantasy miniature using simple, easy-to-follow techniques before jumping into a guided D&D one-shot adventure designed specifically for new players. No experience is needed, and all supplies—including paints, brushes, miniatures, dice, and character sheets—are provided. This relaxed, welcoming class is perfect for anyone interested in fantasy, storytelling, tabletop games, or creative hobbies, and families, friends, and mixed-age groups are all encouraged to join together. You’ll leave with a painted miniature and your first D&D adventure completed! Class price: $150 per 2 hour session for up to 5 adventurers.

Join us for a hands-on, 5-hour airbrush painting class on Saturday, May 30th, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at SD United Training Facility (upstairs classroom). Limited to just 6 participants, this beginner-friendly session will walk you through everything you need to know to fully paint a tank or similarly-sized model in a single day. The class is $150 per person and includes a 3D-printed resin model of your choice (Land Raider-sized or smaller), plus all the paints, primer, and supplies you need — so you can show up and get straight to painting. That said, we highly encourage you to bring your own airbrush and paints so you can practice with the tools you’ll be using at home. By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with a finished model and the confidence to tackle your next project on your own. Come ready to learn, create, and have a great time!

Join our 4-week Thursday evening class from 7–9pm for $150, focused on painting a tabletop-ready Combat Patrol from Games Workshop. Each session builds your skills step by step, covering core techniques like basecoating, shading, highlighting, and finishing details, along with efficient batch painting methods to keep your army consistent and game-ready. With Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition on the horizon, this class is a great way to get your force fully painted and prepared for the next era of play. Instructors provide hands-on guidance throughout, helping you improve brush control and color choices. By the end, you’ll have a fully painted Combat Patrol and the confidence to keep building your army.

Join our “Paint and Take” class for $30 at Kraken Games 6pm-Close, where you can relax and paint a miniature of your choice. All materials are provided, and an instructor will guide you through the basics of miniature painting, including brush care, simple techniques, and an introduction to color theory. Whether you’re brand new or looking to sharpen your skills, you’ll leave with a finished piece and greater confidence in your painting.
