Dr. David Kennedy is the Chief of Medicine at Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe. Dr. Kennedy completed his medical training at Western University and has been a consultant in Internal Medicine in Simcoe since 1995. For the past 30 years he has been the medical advisor for the Haldimand Norfolk Regional Diabetes Education Program. He is a member of the Dissemination and Implementation Committee for the Diabetes Canada Clinical Practice Guidelines and dedicates the majority of his practice to the prevention and management of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and their inherent complications.

Ann Zhang, RD/CDE with 6 years of experience providing diabetes care in Indigenous communities in northern Alberta/Southern Ontario, as well as in hospital-based diabetes education clinics in Southern Ontario. With passion in chronic disease/metabolic health management, she is currently in the process of getting certified in the insulin pump therapy and bariatric education.

Dr. Bittman is a General Internist at The University of British Columbia, where he also completed his medical school and internal medicine residency.

He currently works at Revolution Medical Clinic, a multidiscipiliary obesity and hypertension clinic in Vancouver, BC. His clinical focus is on diagnosis and management secondary hypertension and medical and surgical management of obesity.

In addition to a clinical work, Dr. Bittman sits on on national clinical guidelines committees for hypertension and obesity and is involved in research aiming to improve care of patient living with obesity and hypertension.
