I am a family physician with a particular interest in diabetes care, chronic kidney disease, and the care of older adults. As the incidence of chronic kidney disease is projected to rise over the coming decades, I hope to play a role in helping contain its growth and reduce associated mortality by facilitating clinical discussion among my colleagues. Family physicians are in a uniquely advantageous position within the health care system and can make a meaningful difference. This is the primary reason I feel so enthusiastic about this work.
