Sika
Stephanie Sika is a Colorado-based dancer whose movement practice blends African, Afro-fusion, hip-hop, and contemporary styles. Sika began dancing in college as a way to reconnect with her Ghanaian heritage and support her mental well-being, and quickly discovered a natural passion and talent for performance. Since then, Sika has performed professionally with Raw Groove and appeared in events including the Black Arts Festival, Denver Fringe, and productions at the University of Colorado Boulder. Beyond dance, Sika is pursuing a paralegal certificate and runs a small business, Adornments. Sika is passionate about activism and social justice and hopes to continue exploring how dance can hold space for culture, storytelling, and advocacy.
