Your project architect will undertake your technical design meeting, where we will develop detailed design proposals, including technical specifications, materials, and construction methods, ensuring that the design is technically feasible, and meets all relevant regulations and standards.

Upon instructing Architecture North Ltd for this Work Stage you will have received your Technical Design Project Brief which includes the following information:

Meeting 01 -Initial Project Specifications & Appointments:

Construction/Build Type - Your Preferred method of Construction.
Client to Tender & Appoint the Relevant Structural Engineer for their Project - If Applicable.
Client to Tender & Appoint the Relevant U-Value Assessor for their Project - If Applicable.
Proposed Guttering - Material, Type, Style, & Colour.
External Windows Schedule of Works - Material, Type, Style, & Colour.
External Doors Schedule of Works - Material, Type, Style, & Colour.

Meeting 02 - Exterior Building Components & Roofing:

External Facing Wall(s) - Material, Type, Style, & Colour.
Proposed Roof Materials - Material, Solar or Photovoltaics, Type, Style, & Colour.

Meeting 03 - Interior Design & Plumbing Layouts:

Discuss Interior Design Services offered by Architecture North Ltd.
Existing and Proposed Plumbing Layouts.
Proposed Full Drawing Issue Packages for the Proposed Kitchen, Utility, Laundry, and Boot Room, including Floor Plans, Elevations, & Sections - To be Received.
Proposed Full Drawing Issue Packages for the Proposed Bathroom(s), Ensuite(s), and W/C Design Drawing Issue Package, Layouts, Elevations, and Sections - To be Received.
Client to Tender & Appoint the Relevant Drainage Specialist for their Project - If Applicable.
Existing & Proposed Heating Types.

Meeting 04 - Lighting, Electrical, & Mechanical Systems:

Existing and Proposed Lighting Layouts.
Existing and Proposed Electrical Layouts.

Meeting 05 - Interior Finishes & Features:

Staircase Design - If Applicable.
Interior Doors Schedule of Works - Material, Type, Style, & Colour.

Meeting 06 - Project Overview & Technical Design Finalisation:

This meeting will encompass a comprehensive review of all previously discussed topics and decisions made.
It will focus on finalising the project specifications, addressing any outstanding questions or concerns, and ensuring alignment with the client's requirements and preferences.
Additionally, it will serve as an opportunity to confirm that all necessary tasks have been completed and to establish a clear plan for moving forward with the project.

During the technical design meeting, the project team will review and discuss the finer details of the design, including specific materials, finishes, colors, and textures.

These meeting focuses on coordinating and integrating the input of different consultants and specialists involved in the project. This ensures that their expertise and recommendations are properly incorporated into the technical design, minimising conflicts or issues during construction.

As our client, you have the opportunity to provide feedback, share preferences, and make decisions regarding specific design elements, finishes, or technical aspects.
