Tim

Tim Middlemiss is a leader in social impact and innovation. He leads the consultancy, Pale Blue, working with businesses, foundations and organisations to strengthen their impact programming.

He was the inaugural Head of Foundation for pioneering health-tech firm Harrison.AI, using artificial intelligence to overcome issues of access and quality in global health. Prior to joining Harrison AI, Tim was Chief of Staff to former CEO of World Vision Australia, Tim Costello AO and led global engagement for USD $2 billion impact investment firm, LeapFrog Investments.

Tim was a co-founder of social impact engagement studio, Agency which worked to bring for-purpose engagement into the digital era. With offices in Sydney and New York, Agency served hundreds of impact-led organisations, helping to facilitate notable moments such as the United Nations MyWorld campaign which garnered 7.7 million submissions globally. Agency was named international New Agency of the Year in 2015, a Westpac’s Businesses Of Tomorrow and a Gruen Pitch winner in 2017.

Tim is also co-founder of Ripple, the platform that’s uniting young Australians to use their agency to shape the future. Tim sits on the Board of the global impact accelerator, ygap and is an impact mentor for Taronga Conservation Society’s environmental-impact accelerator, HATCH. In 2019 Tim was named in the inaugural cohort of Obama Foundation Leaders for Asia Pacific and has continued to partner with the Foundation through his work at Ripple and beyond.
