Egeziharya Yilma
Hi, I’m Egeziharya (Egg-Zi-ha-ree-ya), a proud Ethiopian-American doula and childbirth educator with over eight years of experience supporting births locally and across Sub-Saharan Africa. My work is rooted in culturally aligned, empathy-centered care that honors the unique emotional, physical, and cultural needs of each family. I am especially passionate about supporting families through complex and sensitive experiences while creating space for meaningful and deeply supportive care. Currently pursuing graduate training in midwifery, I continue to shape my practice through both global and local birth experiences. Outside of birth work, I enjoy spending time with family, teaching children at my church, and exploring nature while learning about birth traditions from cultures around the world.
