Aerial for Grief Group (Nov 10)
Tuesday, November 10
5:30 – 6:30 PMAbout the event
Aerial for Grief is an experience to feel and process grief through connecting to the body, movement and being held in the air by an aerial apparatus.
What to expect: Each time we meet will be a little different based on who joins and their desires and needs. We will always begin with an opening circle and check-in. This will be followed by some movements with simply props to help you feel a connection to your body. We will spend time in an aerial sling, behind held by the sling while suspended in the air. This time will include invitations for movement and the option of connection through touch, including pressure on parts of your back and shoulders. As a participant, you are at choice as to which of my invitations you accept and which you leave each time you join. We will end with a closing circle allowing for reflection on your experience and allowing for sharing with the group for those that would like to.
**My goal is that Aerial for Grief is an accessible space and open to all bodies. If you have a want and/or need that you would like to talk with me about ahead of time, please reach out. ([email protected])
