INITIAL CONSULTATION AGREEMENT

This Initial Consultation Agreement is entered into between the Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, Arshdeep Kaur, RCIC #R731423 ("RCIC" or “we” or “us”), and the client (“You”). Your payment through the appointment booking tool signifies your acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this initial consultation agreement.

Purpose of Consultation: The consultation relates to understanding more about Canadian Immigration laws and how they relate to the client’s situation. Weigh the options available to them and create a strategy for proceeding.

Scope of Service: This agreement pertains solely to a one-time general consultation. It does not designate us as your Authorized Representative for any immigration matter unless a separate future service agreement is executed.

Client Responsibility: You are responsible for supplying the RCIC with all factual information and documentation required for the consultation. Accuracy and honesty are paramount, and you must disclose all relevant information, even if adverse, as it may impact the advice provided. Failure to do so could void this Agreement or significantly affect the outcome of your application or status.

Confidentiality: We are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of your information and documentation. Unless required by law, we will not disclose any data provided by you to third parties without your prior consent, except to our agents and employees.

Cancellation/Refund/Termination Policy:

• This agreement is considered terminated upon completion of the task. The task is deemed completed if there are no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.
• No refunds are available for no-shows or cancellations for the scheduled appointment.
• You may reschedule appointments by emailing us, provided it is done at least 48 hours before the scheduled time.
• No refunds will be granted after the completion of the online/in-person consultation.

Signing: Both parties agree that this agreement does not need to be signed electronically or physically, and the agreement comes into effect once the client completes the appointment/consultation booking and pays the consultation fees.

Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of Ontario, and the Federal laws of Canada applicable therein and except for disputes under Section 8 hereof, any dispute concerning the terms of this Agreement shall be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction within the Province of Ontario.

Choose the Format: In our experience, clients find consultation through video conferencing (MS Teams) most useful, as it allows us to share our screen and go over useful links. However, you are welcome to choose between a phone call, or WhatsApp. We are here to accommodate your preferences.
