Durham Motherhood Circle ~ December

Where: Durham Wellness Space, Coxhoe

When: Third Saturday of the month, 10-12

Who: Welcoming women & birthing people from pre-conception, to pregnancy through to postpartum (non-crawling babies welcome)

What: Each session will be free flowing and co-created with those there. Space to share, refect, to ask for support, for journaling - leave feeling relaxed and easeful

Themes:

November 21st ~ Body

This could look like

✨Shared discussion & support for your changing body - through pregnancy and postpartum

✨Movements to support pregnancy & prepare for birth

✨Movements to reconnect with the body after birth

✨Self massage, rebozo & other tools for caring for the body in motherhood

✨Journaling to process feelings, emotions & thoughts around the body

December 19th ~ Breath

This could look like:

✨Breathwork for labour

✨Breathwork for nervous system regulation during pregnancy appointments or tricky times in new motherhood

✨Breathwork for pelvic floor health and recovery

✨Journal prompts guiding us to think and share about our feelings around our breath, our voice, our advocacy, our self determination

January 16th ~ Care

This could look like:

✨Sharing and discussing self care practices and our thoughts, feelings, needs around self care

✨Newborn care - from infant feeding, to newborn sleep

✨Sharing and discussing how we receive care from others, what care we need and how we may ask for it

Facilitation:

These sessions are facilitated by me, Zoe Gardiner. I am an experienced doula, space holder, massage therapist and mother of two (soon to be three) with over ten years experience of supporting, holding and caring for new mothers ❤️

Cost:

£10 per session or £20 for block booking all three
