An initial call to explore ADHD and/or Executive Coaching together with Susi
We'll talk a little bit about:
- What you are seeking coaching for
- What you are hoping to improve or change in your life
- Whether coaching is the best solution
- My approach to coaching & what coaching is & isn't
There will be no pressure to decide right away if you'd like to proceed with the coaching.
If you are based in the UK, I might also be able to provide you with some insights on Access to Work & how it can be used to finance coaching for you.
If there's anything I can do to make the call more safe or accessible for you, please let me know either during the call or anytime via email or message.
Examples of this might include:
- Asking for an agenda in advance or sending over questions you have before we meet so you won't forget them
- Discussing ways you prefer to be in touch or share information

- Prepare a little win to share π
- Consider the long-term or short-term goals or dilemmas you'd like to work on. π―
- Make sure you're comfy! Grab a drink & some snacks, take some deep breaths or get up and shake out your limbs a little π
- Have your favourite note-taking tools ready π
π§ Principles of coaching:
- You decide what you want to work on. I might offer you an option to delve into a specific aspect of executive function that is impacted by ADHD β but we can always discuss about a specific goal instead if you are not interested on the day.
- As your coach, I believe in your ability to find your own answers and solve your challenges. Only you know your full story and only you can implement your actions.
- I support you in this process through questioning, occasional challenging of thought patterns & support. I'm not here to judge or tell you what to do. I might offer to send you reading materials or share some education about ADHD topics with you β but you draw your own conclusions from them.
- I work with a whole-person approach: your past, present, future and different aspects of your life can all be brought into the discussion if they appear relevant to you.
- We are equals in this process - and I am open to feedback during or after sessions

- If you can't make the session, I ask that you cancel 1 day in advance at the latest. No-shows on the day can not be reimbursed without prior notice.

- Reflect on the insights you gained since the last session
- Find a place for the call where you're comfortable & can speak freely
- Make sure you're hydrated - grab a drink & some snacks if you want to
- Try to disconnect from your routine - you can either take some deep breaths or get up and shake out your limbs a little - whatever helps
- Come in with an open mind & curiosity
- Have your favourite note-taking tools ready

β How to prepare for the session:
- Come in with something you'd like to shift (e.g. gain confidence around something, feel less blocked or afraid etc.) any goal is okay!
- Find a place for the call where you're comfortable & can speak freely. A sofa or cushioned chair is great for this one!
- Make sure you're hydrated - grab a drink & some snacks if you want to
- Switch off the phone
- Come in with an open mind & curiosity
- Have pen & paper at hand
