- ashmuHub Coordinator, Welcome Team, Communications/Media Lead** Aloha! 🌺 My name is Ashmu (pronounced ash-moo like a cow), pronouns she/her, and I am originally from Oahu, Hawai‘i. I’ve lived in the Bay for about 4 years now and love it! I’ve been a member of Sunrise Movement since 2024, and have been Hub Coordinator for the Sunrise Bay Area Hub since January 2025. I also am the Communications/Media Lead for the hub. Sunrise has truly been life changing for me, and a place where I've grown and learned so much. I can't wait for the same for you! I am open for Intro Calls if you are brand new and don't know where to start. Any of the Welcome Team can get you going, but as hub coordinator, I have a great birds eye of view of everything going on. Or schedule your Welcome Call with me if you are especially interested in helping with Comms or Social Media! Feel free to always schedule a call if you want to connect in any other way! I have a crazy work schedule (I'm a flight attendant) and this is the best way to get me on the phone lol More about me: If I'm not flying to somewhere warmer, or working on Sunrise, you'll find me dancing or playing pool.
