Get startedHi, Happy New Year! 🎊 We're starting 2025 with exciting updates to make scheduling easier, faster, and more tailored to you. In this newsletter, discover new payment options for paid bookings, enhanced Routing updates, and tips to avoid unwanted meetings. Enjoy!
We’re excited to announce that we now support Apple Pay and Google Pay as payment methods for paid bookings!
If you’re using our stripe app to accept payments, you can now provide your customers with even more convenience and flexibility by offering these popular payment options.
Connect the Stripe App to your Event Type
Log in to your Stripe Dashboard, which is connected to your Cal.com setup.
Navigate to your Stripe settings, and go to Payments under Product Settings. Switch to the Payment methods tab. Look for Cal.com configuration and click on it.
On this screen enable Apple Pay and Google Pay (or any other method you like). Make sure you follow specific instructions for each method.
Once enabled in Stripe, Apple Pay and Google Pay will automatically sync with your Cal.com setup.
Routing forms are essential for scheduling, especially in services and sales, as they ensure the right person is matched with the right client at the right time. We’ve been working hard to make them even better. Recent advancements include attribute-based weighting for host routing, allowing precise matching by prioritizing attribute weights over event type weights. You can now also analyze routing form inputs in the Insights tab and customize your preferred view. And stay tuned—there’s even more exciting functionality on the way!
Create a routing formWe’d like to remind you of our two powerful features that can help you to avoid unwanted bookings:
Requires Confirmation: Approve appointments before they’re added to your calendar, ensuring control over your schedule.
Requires Booker Email Verification: Verify the email of anyone booking with you to prevent spam and ensure authentic appointments.
Enable these features in your event’s advanced settings to focus on genuine bookings and protect your schedule from unnecessary disruptions.
