Changes to Workflows

Dear community and user of the free individuals plan.

A while ago we made workflows free and included it in the Individuals plan. Sadly, the lack of required payment and open API endpoint has caused us too many headaches by hackers, scammers sending spam and phishing emails that has caused too much costs, effort and energy to fight.

I never thought I would revert a product decision where something was free before, that no longer works but this is purely a decision to protect our time and sanity.

Moving forward with v4.9, all Workflows will be part of Teams, Organizations and Enterprise.

If you feel like you deserve free workflows regardless, you have a few options:

• Send me a DM on X.com or shoot me an email at [email protected] explaining your case and I'll set you up with a free Teams account for yourself

It's sad to see that we have to reduce our offering to everyone because of the actions of a few but if you've followed any tech company, sadly that happens with a lot of products that gain popularity and are more prone to hacker and scammer attacks.

Best free plan in the market

While this decision was hard to make, we've done a bit of market research and realised that Cal.com still has the very best plan in the market, even without workflows. There is no second best from what I have seen. Please send screenshots of comparison pages if you found someone with a better free plan.

Reinvesting time and focus

At this point we are cutting our losses when it comes to fighting workflow scammers and we're excited to reroute our time and energy on features that make your life better. We intend to spend as little time on side-quests and as much as possible on making Cal.com the best product ever.
