Cal.com was built around the idea that finding a time to meet shouldn't be complicated. This is why we decided to build a tool to overcome all the bottlenecks and speed bumps that are part of appointment scheduling. The fact is, every facet of civil society is shaped by appointments and meetings.
Some of them, like spending time with friends or catching up with a colleague over lunch, are informal. However, a wide range of these essential events are directly related to wellness, security, and economic growth. This means that for a calendar scheduling product to truly make a difference, it has to be radically customizable.
We've accomplished this by utilizing a two-prong approach: offering an open-source version of our product via GitHub, as well as a low-code friendly hosted solution. This ensures that every individual has access to a modular, flexible, and robust scheduling platform.

Demodesk lets sales professionals automatically record all their meetings in a way that's GDPR and MiFID compliant. It comes with a built-in AI that will transcribe and summarize meetings and can integrate with all mainstream CRM solutions. Using Demodesk with Cal.com makes it easier for customers to connect with sales professionals without having to engage in a game of email tag. Demodesk also helps to support the development of members within the sales team by providing conversational metrics and scorecards that can be used as part of coaching. How to install Demodesk
Log in to your Cal.com account.
Select the tab marked "Apps."
Select the category labeled "Conferencing."
Scroll until you see the app name "Demodesk."
Click on "Demodesk."
Click on the "Install" button.
Now go to the event you'd like to use with Demodesk or create a new one.
Once you're inside the event settings, scroll down to "Location" and select "Demodesk."
Add your Demodesk link in the designated field.
Finally, scroll up to the top of the page and click the "Save" button to commit your changes.
Demodesk is just one of many tools that Cal.com offers its users to help facilitate communication and connection in an efficient manner. One of the great things about the way that Cal.com is set up is that meeting locations are set on a per-event type basis rather than globally. This means that once you've installed the app for Demodesk, you can use it on an as-needed basis.
