Getting started with Roam:

Before we get started with setting up this integration, it's important to keep one or two things in mind. First, this integration will not work if you don't have a Roam account, so it's a good idea to go over to Roam and sign up for one before starting. Second, once you finish installing Roam, it can be used with any event as long as it’s been selected as a meeting location. Installing the Roam app:

  1. Log in to your Cal.com account.

  2. On the left-hand side of the screen, you'll see a navigation bar.

  3. Click on the item labeled "Apps."

  4. Select "Conferencing" from the featured categories.

  5. Please scroll down until you find Roam.

  6. Click on Roam's detail button to continue.

  7. Click on the black button labeled "Install App."

Adding Roam as a booking location:

  1. Select your event type dashboard.

  2. This will once again be located on the navigation bar on the left hand of your screen.

  3. You can either create a new event or edit a previously created one.

  4. Now scroll down to the location setting.

  5. Click on the drop-down menu.

  6. Scroll through the options.

  7. Select Roam.

  8. You can now add your own booking link to the designated field.

  9. Finally, click the save button in the upper right-hand corner.

Adding Roam to your Cal.com account is a simple process that can make a big change. It lets Cal.com users have access to a robust and dynamic virtual HQ that marries the best aspects of a physical office space with the freedom and flexibility of working in a remote, hybrid, or async environment.
