Get StartedThe whole idea behind Cal.com is to ensure that people have the tools they need to spend less time figuring out when or how they're going to meet and more time brainstorming and collaborating with each other. We have a wide variety of resources and applications bundled within our product, making it easy for account holders to customize their calendar scheduling environment. Our app store lets you connect various teleconferencing, texting, and CRM products. In addition, our workflow feature helps to reduce your administrative overhead by allowing you to set up automated emails and texts. This feature can be used to send everything from reminders and questionnaires to legal contracts.
We have other valuable features that can be found tucked within Cal.com's event-level settings. You may already know some of these, like booking limits and buffer times; however, others might be less obvious. You might not even be using them since they slipped under the radar. Today, we want to highlight one of our most useful features - our multi-location setting.
The location is one of the first things that is decided when creating a Cal.com event. People typically have a preferred way of conducting business. For some, this might be over the phone, in person, or via a specific teleconferencing app. Each account holder typically sets a single location per event without realizing they can offer multiple choices. You should do this as part of putting prospective attendees at ease. Setting up events with multi-location options is a simple and straightforward process that only takes a few minutes. If this is something that interests you, then follow the steps below.
Sign in to your Cal.com account.
Select the event you want to edit or create a new one.
Scroll down to locations.
Click "+ Add a Location."
Select the location you want to add as an option.
Click the "Update" button.
Repeat until you've added all the locations needed.
Finally, click the "Save" button in the upper right-hand corner.
Adding multiple locations to your Cal.com bookable event is an easy way to connect with and empower your clients. It might mean little to you whether a meeting is held on Zoom, Google Meet, or Cal video, but it can make a world of difference to the other party. When you let someone choose their preferred communication platform, you give them extra space to be themselves within the digital world. This helps to put people at ease and reduce pre-meeting jitters that might occur, especially if the other party is less than 100% comfortable with new forms of technology. At Cal.com, we're all about empowering our users and their clients to build a new relationships with the idea of stress-free, efficient, and impactful calendar scheduling.
