Get StartedCal.com was designed to simplify scheduling for everyone. We set out to create a product that could meet the needs of teams as well as individuals. Most people start their Cal.com journey by signing up for our free plan.
It's a great option because it includes over 90% of our features and lets you hit the ground running without having to make any significant financial decisions. However, there are huge benefits that come when you choose to upgrade to a team plan.
In this blog post, we're going to cover six game-changing features that Cal.com team plan subscribers have access to.
Our collective scheduling feature works in tandem with collective events. This is an event type that's only available to team subscribers and higher. Using this event type makes it easy to schedule meetings and appointments where multiple members are needed.
This event type is great for new employee on-boarding, department meetings, all-hands meetings, and remote brainstorming sessions. If you want to learn more about this feature, please check out this documentation page as well as this blog post.
In addition to collective scheduling, Cal.com also offers round-robin scheduling. We have two options. The first of which is just the regular round-robin that lets you save time by letting people book meetings and appointments with team members based on availability.
This feature will cycle through all of the available schedules and match the correct team member to the prospective booker based on this. If you'd like to learn a little bit more about our round-robin booking capabilities, please feel free to check out this link.
Fixed Round-Robin Booking
Cal.com's fixed round-robin booking type is a unique feature that very few calendar scheduling solutions provide. It lets you mix the efficiency of round-robin booking with the reliability and control that a designated host offers.
Using the fixed round-robin meeting type means you can choose one person who will always be part of the round-robin booking. This might be a supervisor if, for example, this is something that's utilized as part of HR processes or mentorship programs.
This bookable event type ensures that every meeting will have at least two people, one of whom is assigned randomly based on availability and one who is always there in a supervisory capacity.
One of the best features that Cal.com team subscribers have access to is the ability to send SMS messages to attendees. You can set up workflows that take advantage of this feature to easily send meeting reminders as well as follow-up messages and links to surveys.
All Cal.com team subscribers have access to video recordings as part of the Teams plan. This frees subscribers from the confines of third-party services like Zoom, and lets them stay within Cal.com's ecosystem.
To use this feature all you have to do is set CalVideo as the meeting location, and record calls as needed. Once you've completed a recorded meeting, all you have to do is visit your account bookings page, select past meetings and download and your recordings.

One of the final perks that we're going to talk about that's available to Cal.com team plan subscribers is the ability to remove all Cal.com branding from your public pages. This is great because it allows you to ensure that your branding is centered first and foremost in the eyes of your clients. This is a simple feature that shouldn't be underestimated in terms of its impact and potency.
There are several other bonuses that come with using Cal.com's team plan. For example, we didn't even go into the benefits of managed meeting event types!
If there are any Cal.com team plan features that you love that weren't mentioned, then shout them out on Twitter and tag us. Who knows? We might have a little surprise for you. Thanks for reading this article, and as always, happy scheduling!
