Get startedCal.com is used by individuals and businesses of all sizes all over the world. We know that there are a lot of people counting on us, which is why we're passionate about ensuring that the majority of our features are available for free.
A great example of this is our monetization options. All Cal.com users can process payments using integrations for Stripe, PayPal, and even Alby (if you use Bitcoin). However, we know that when it comes to payments, it's not a one-size-fits-all solution, since Stripe and PayPal are not necessarily available in all regions. What’s more, digital wallets have become the dominant payment method for online transactions in Asia. This is why we're happy to say that from now on, users can also use HitPay.
HitPay is a payments platform designed for businesses across Asia Pacific, as well as other parts of the globe, process payments effectively and efficiently. HitPay currently helps over 15,000 businesses and provides a unified online, point-of-sale, and B2B payment solution.
HitPay's team approached Cal.com with a clear vision: "Most online scheduling software doesn’t seamlessly support local payment methods. That’s why we built the HitPay + Cal.com integration — a powerful way to accept seamless payments for bookings across Asia."
The partnership made perfect sense. To complement Cal.com's powerful booking capabilities, HitPay enables merchants to accept payments through 50+ methods in 150+ currencies. Key payment methods supported by HitPay include:
- Real-time QR Code Payments: e.g. PayNow, DuitNow, QRIS, PromptPay
- E-Wallets: e.g. GrabPay, ShopeePay, GCash, AliPay, WeChat Pay
- Credit & Debit Cards: e.g. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay
- Buy Now, Pay Later: e.g. PayLater by Grab, SPayLater, Atome
This allows businesses to provide a more localized and flexible payment experience for their customers.
The integration particularly resonated with Cal.com's mission of providing accessible scheduling solutions worldwide. It addresses a crucial need in the APAC region where traditional payment processors often have limited coverage. As such, HitPay's extensive local payment options and regional expertise made them an ideal partner for expanding Cal.com's payment capabilities in Southeast Asia.
One of the great things about HitPay is that their pricing is transparent. You can visit their website to easily see the transaction fees they charge on a per-product level. With HitPay, there are no setup, subscription, or hidden fees — making this integration cost-effective for Cal.com users.
So now you know about HitPay. Let's look at connecting it to your Cal.com account.
