Microsoft Teams Compatible Calendar Scheduling

We all have preferences. These can be seen in the colors we wear, the foods we eat, and the shows we choose to watch. It shouldn't be surprising that most people also have a favorite teleconferencing platform. Unfortunately, we often have to pay attention to this to take advantage of various online appointment booking products. But what if you didn't have to make this compromise? What might it be like if a scheduling infrastructure product offered multiple avenues for advanced customization, both developer- and no-code-friendly? Well, this product exists. It's called Cal.com, and it's not only open source but also offers free accounts for individuals. Cal.com was built to take the frustration out of scheduling. It's a product that means you no longer have to play a game of email ping pong when trying to coordinate a time, a day, or a location to meet. You can use our product to set up no-show fees, recurring meetings, and advanced automation using workflowsrouting forms, or webhooks.

Cal.com makes customization easy

One of the best things about Cal.com is its App Store. Users can find everything from integrations for analytics to CRM tools and a subject I mentioned earlier: teleconferencing. Cal.com lets its users choose from over 20 different communication platforms. You can use our in-house solution, Cal Video, or choose from 21 other options. If you love Microsoft products and prefer Teams when teleconferencing, it only takes a moment to connect your Microsoft account to your Cal account. If this is something that you're interested in, then check out the steps below. However, one thing to keep in mind is that if you want to use Microsoft Teams with Cal.com, you'll need either a Microsoft work or school account.

How to add Microsoft Teams to your account

  1. Sign in to your Cal.com account.

  2. Select the Apps tab.

  3. Choose Conferencing from our featured category.

  4. Scroll down until you find Microsoft Teams.

  5. Click on the Details button.

  6. Then click the Install App button.

  7. A pop-up window is going to open; click the black Continue button.

  8. Now, you're going to be redirected to your Microsoft account.

  9. Continue following the on-screen prompts to finish installing the app.

  10. Once this is done, go to your Events tab.

  11. You can create a new event or edit a previously created one from here.

  12. Once that's done, scroll until you reach the Location drop-down menu.

  13. Click on it and select Microsoft Teams as your meeting location.

  14. After this, scroll to the top of the page and click the Save button in the upper right-hand corner.

As you can see, installing Microsoft Teams as a virtual meeting location within your Cal.com account is a straightforward process. One of the great things about our product is that you can add as many teleconferencing options as you want. You can use different locations for different meetings. You can even use our multi-location setting to let your guests choose a virtual venue. If you want to learn more about our other teleconferencing options, click here. If, on the other hand, you want to know more about our different event-level settings or developer-friendly options, please check out our Docs page right here. The great thing about Cal.com is that it doesn't just save you time; it reduces scheduling-related stress. If this sounds good, you can sign up for a free account using the link below. Happy scheduling.
